A third case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Thunder Bay.
The District Health Unit says it is the wife of the city’s first case, a man in his sixties.
Both had just returned from a week-long trip to Florida, and remain in isolation.
The Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janet DeMille says both did the right thing by going into immediate isolation the moment they returned to the city.
The Health Unit is tracking any contacts the couple may have had when arriving back in Canada.
The federal government has enacted the Quarantine Act which requires travellers to self-isolate for 14-days once they return to Canada.
