Donald Cairns
October 27, 1955 – March 9, 2020
In loving memory of Donald Cairns who passed away on March 9, 2020.
Donald is survived by his children; Shaun Cairns and Michael Cairns (Caitlyn Fletcher), brother Wayne Cairns, niece Rhonda Cairns (Joe Mulligan), great nephew Justin Mulligan, great niece Ashley Mulligan, mother of his children Lisa (Terry) Imeson and numerous extended family in Manitoba.
Donald is predeceased by his father Howard Cairns, mother Sybil (Peter) Gerula and brothers Russell Cairns and David Cairns aka “Ziazoom”.
Donald loved to spend time in his garden. He had a natural ‘green thumb’ and could grow anything! He really enjoyed fishing, especially on Wabigoon Lake near the Springwater Trailer Park. When he wasn’t in his garden or out on the lake, Donald liked to fiddle with different gadgets and always had a new project on the go. He truly enjoyed his Tim’s coffee and jam sessions with his long-time friend Harvey (Isabelle) Pollock, he didn’t play any instruments, but loved to sit and listen to the music.
There will be no service as cremation has taken place.
As per Donald’s wishes there will be no service.
Interment will take place at a later date.
