Most facilities are closed with the exception of the Airport and Transfer Station, however staff are continuing to provide the necessary services.
A dedicated website to COVID-19 has been set up by the Municipality.

Meantime, Mayor Fred Mota has issued the following statement:
“We as a collective community have been successful in implementing preventative measures to mitigate the spread of the virus to date. I commend everyone for your efforts, however, we have much more work to do. I would also like to take this time to thank our local businesses who are working diligently to keep our economy moving by remaining open and offering alternative shopping methods to fulfill our everyday needs. I ask all community members to continue to do their part in mitigating the risks associated with COVID-19.
The Municipal office is closed to the public but you can still call 735-2096 if you need additional information. The after hours line is 727-2597.
