The Dryden District Chamber of Commerce has postponed its “Win This Space” contest until next year.
Officials note it could be months, rather than weeks until the threat of the COVID-19 virus passes and businesses and community members will need time to recoup.
The Chamber is thanking everyone who applied to start-up a business in the community and invites them to reapply next year when the competition re-launches.
Officials are also thanking sponsors for their generous support.
This was supposed to be the second year of the contest.
Morgan Shepherd was the inaugural winner and she started up Little Mod Nest in downtown Dryden.
Meantime, the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce, along with the City of Dryden are currently working on something that will help support local businesses during this difficult time.
