Three Catholic Churches in our area have suspended regular services.
This press release was issued today;
Complying to the directives of Bishop Colli of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Thunder Bay, in an effort to curb the spread of the Coronavirus – COVID 19, and to safeguard the health of everyone, especially the elderly and the most vulnerable, SUNDAY MASSES AT ST. JOSEPH – DRYDEN, OUR LADY OF FATIMA – VERMILION BAY, IMMACULATE CONCEPTION – IGNACE, along with all the parishes in the diocese are cancelled for the weekends of March 21-22 and 28-29.
The General Absolution Services for March 27, 28 & 29 are also cancelled at this time.
Weekday Masses at St. Joseph’s will be celebrated as scheduled, however there will be No Mass at Princess Court on Thursdays.
The Funeral Mass for the late John Mulders on Friday, March 20 will be reserved for the immediate family.
