You won’t be able to sit inside and enjoy a cup of coffee at Tim Hortons stores across northwestern Ontario.
Restaurant Brands International says its closing all dining room seating effective Tuesday as part of a national effort to contain COVID-19.
The company says restaurant owners will instead focus on take-out and drive-thru only.
Tim Hortons says their restaurants are gathering places for communities across the country and they have the responsibility of protecting their guests and team members during this uncertain time.
Information on specific operational procedures is expected to be released in the very near future.
To contribute to social distancing that has been called for by public health officials, starting tmrw, our restaurants will focus on take-out, drive-thru and delivery service where available, and close all dining room seating until further notice.
