Provincial Police have laid additional charges against the man accused of killing a local resident and seriously injuring four others.
OPP say 36-year-old Justin Desautels of Dryden now faces counts of second degree murder and attempt to commit murder.
That’s on top of the eight charges he was already facing.
Police were called on March 2nd to the Arbour Jade Trailer Park on McGogy Road to deal with a report of a suspicious person.
In the following hours, several calls were placed to the OPP resulting in officers attending the trailer park to investigate one death and multiple assaults.
Investigators believe the incidents are related and are continuing their probe.
Desautels will be back in court on Monday.

-Assault a Peace Officer s. 270 (1) (a)
-Resist Arrest s. 129(a)
-Assault Peace Officer – Cause Bodily Harm s. 267(b)
-Break, Enter and commit Robbery s.348 (1)(b) – two counts
-Attempt to Disarm a Police Officer s. 270.1(1)
-Attempt to Commit Murder s. 239(1) (b)
-Possession of a Schedule I Substance contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA)
