Cochenour’s Cody Bruchkowski has been named SIJHL Mallon’s Corporate Impressions/Play It Again Sports Most Valuable Player for the 2019-2020 season.
With just two games left in the regular season, the Thunder Bay North Stars forward has racked up 58-goals, 36-assists and 94-points.
With the five tallies he had to start the campaign in Brockville, Bruchkowski has scored the most markers in the entire Canadian Junior Hockey League.
He has only been held off the game sheet on four occasions.
Bruchkowski beat out Red Lake Miners goalie Zach Willms and Jack Michels of the Thief River Norskies.
He is the fourth North Stars player in SIJHL history to win the MVP award.
