There could be some movement at the bargaining table today (Wednesday) as the government resumes talks with three teachers unions.
Talks are scheduled with the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario, English Catholic teachers and French-language instructors.
Premier Doug Ford says Education Minister Stephen Lecce is doing a great job and their priority is getting kids back in the classroom.
Lecce says parents have waited long enough and it’s time to get a deal done.
He says the government is going to freeze classroom sizes and ensure special education funding continues to flow to those with the greatest needs.
