Steven Del Duca is the new leader of Ontario’s Liberal party.
Del Duca replaces Kathleen Wynne after she stepped down following the 2018 provincial election.
He was chosen at the provincial Liberal Leadership Convention in Mississauga this afternoon, beating five other candidates with 1258 out of 2140 votes.
Del Duca formerly represented the Vaughan-Woodbridge riding but lost his seat in the 2018 election.
Thank you Ontario Liberals. Today the hard work begins to defeat Doug Ford. #onpoli
