Three local residents face a long list of charges following a police pursuit in the Hudson area.
Lac Seul Police were on patrol last Friday on Highway 664 when officers noticed a suspicious vehicle around 4:20 in the morning.
The vehicle fled the area at a high rate of speed when police attempted to pull it over.
It was stopped a short time later with support from Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout.
Officers found a small amount of crystal meth inside the vehicle.
As a result of an investigation, Lac Seul Police have issued the following charges.
1. 44-year–old Erica Harper from Dryden
-Flight from Police
-Operation while Impaired
-Operation while Blood Concentration (80 plus)
-Possession of Methamphetamine
-Fail to use lower beam (Highway Traffic Act)
-Drive with no currently validated permit
-Fail to stop for Police
2. 21-year-old Ashton Koostachin from Dryden
-Obstruct Police
-Fail to Comply with Prohibition Regarding Children
3. 32-year-old Shelley Peetawayway from Frenchman’s Head
-Fail to Comply with Recognizance 2-Counts
The vehicle was impounded for seven days.
