A third period comeback fell short Wednesday for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The Thief River Falls Norskies stormed out to a 4-1 lead and held on to defeat the Ice Dogs 5-3.
Nolan Marshall led the way with two goals while Josh Weber added a single.
The Norskies would ice the game with an empty netter.
Knute Loe suffered the loss.
