Contact talks between the union representing Catholic teachers and the Ontario government have broken down again.
The two sides resumed talks Monday with the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association suspending planned strike action.
During the one day of talks, OECTA president Liz Stuart says the Province’s bargaining team held firm to its agenda to take resources out of the classroom.
Stuart says now waiting on the mediator to decide if further negotiations would be worthwhile.
