Four people face multiple charges following a drug bust in the remote northern First Nation community of North Spirit Lake.
A multi-agency team with the Nishnawbe Aski Police executed a search warrant on Saturday as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers seized roughly $9,650 worth of pre-packaged crack cocaine as well as $3,050 cash.
Police report the following charges:
-A 19 year-old female from North Spirit Lake was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of the Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime, and three counts of Fail to Comply with a Recognizance.
-A 24 year-old female from Peguis, Manitoba was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of the Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime.
-A 31 year-old female from North Spirit Lake was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of the Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime.
-A 54 year-old male from North Spirit Lake was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of the Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime.
