Red Lake is preparing for its long weekend Winter Carnival.
This is year number of five of the event and most of the activities are being held at Howey Bay.
Mayor Fred Mota says one of the main highlights is a Pond Hockey event Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament will open with a game under the lights featuring the Provincial Police and Firefighters.
