A First Nations community near Sioux Narrows is receiving federal help to alleviate unsafe drinking water.
A new water treatment plant has been announced for Northwest Angle #33.
The community has been under a boil water advisory since 2011 and a State of Emergency was declared in 2016, after water from one of its stations was deemed unsafe to consume.
The $12-million project will help about 200 people.
