History was made Sunday night at the 92nd annual Academy Awards.
Parasite, a South Korean movie directed by Bong Joon-ho, took home four awards including best original screenplay, best director, and best picture.
It’s the first time in the Oscars’ almost 100 year history that a foreign film has one the nights’ top honours.
That wasn’t the only new ground for the awards, as Hildur Guðnadóttir became the first woman to win for best original score for The Joker.
Joaquin Pheonix took home best actor for his work as the Joker, while the top leading lady was Renée Zellweger for her role in Judy.
Laura Dern won Best Supporting Actress and Brad Pitt won Best Supporting Actor.
Toy Story 4 took home best animated flick, while 1917 won best cinemetography.
