The Dryden Food Bank is reaching out to the public for donations.
Manager Al Huckabay says things traditionally slow down in the first two months of the year.
“Christmas season. People are just really into giving. Hearts are giving and we’re so thankful for that and we are blessed because of that. But, the shelves start to deplete through the January/February season.”
Huckabay says the generosity of the community is amazing, noting they recently received about 36 pounds of baby products.
All types of items will be accepted as the Food Bank now owns a refrigerated van.
