Mental health will be on the minds of many today. (Wednesday)
It’s ‘Bell Let’s Talk Day’.
The campaign was launched in 2010 with a focus on raising awareness, acceptance and action.
A recent survey by Nielsen Consumer Insights found 84% of Canadians are now comfortable with talking to others about mental health.
That’s a big increase over the 42% in 2012.
Bell will donate five cents for social media posts, including texts, tweets, the Bell Let’s Talk Day Facebook page and Snapchat.
Since the start of the program, more than $100-million has been raised for mental health programs.
