Red Lake Miners forward Jordan Baranesky has been named SIJHL/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
The hometown player recorded five goals in two wins last week.
The highlight came against Thief River Falls where Baranesky registered his first junior hockey hat trick.
The 18-year-old also scored twice against Dryden GM, including the game-winner.
Baranesky sits second in goals among league rookies with 19.
That puts him fifth overall in the entire SIJHL.
Baranesky now has 12 goals in his last nine games.
Malcolm Huemmert of the Ice Dogs also received consideration.
