The OPP have upgraded the charge against a 28-year-old Sabaskong First Nations resident to murder.
Initially, Larry “Junior” Melvin Duck was charged in aggravated assault in the death of 42-year-old Clayton Bob of Big Island First Nation back in May of last year.
Duck failed to comply with his released conditions and on Sunday he was arrested again.
This time he was charged with murder after a post-mortem exam in Toronto earlier this month provided additional evidence.
Duck appeared in Kenora Court today on the charges.
Back on May 7th, 2019, the body of Clayton Bob was found on the Onigaming First Nation and Duck was arrested 11 days later.
