A familiar face is back as Chair of the Kenora District Services Board.
Barry Baltessen was re-elected at Thursday’s monthly meeting in Dryden.
The Unincorporated area representative has been the long time voice of the organization.
Baltessen says housing priorities are among the top of his agenda for 2020.
He stresses another goal is strengthening relations with the province.
“We’re seeing movement from the government in terms of our request to them to work together and be on the same page so that all the ministries are moving in the same direction as we are.”
Baltessen believes the KDSB is now in a position to present proposals on moving forward on several key issues impacting the Kenora district.
