It’s the biggest series of the year to date for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The Ice Dogs host the Thief River Falls Norskies for a two game set starting tonight (Friday).
Dryden GM is two points up on the Norskies for third in the SIJHL standings.
Captain Curtis Magas says they aren’t hitting the panic button after three consecutive losses.
“The mindset is pretty good right now. The past couple of days, it’s been a couple of rough game for the boys, but that’s never anything we’re going to fall apart for.”
Magas adds “We just got to keep our heads straight and realize that we got to win with structure and not just with skill and that’s definitely going to get us where we want to be at the end of the day.”
Game time is 7:30pm Friday and Saturday.
Meantime, the Fort Frances Lakers host Thunder Bay tonight before heading to Red Lake Saturday for a 7:00pm game.
