The winning ways continue for the Red Lake Miners.
Hometown hero Jordan Baranesky recorded the hat-trick and the Miners went on to a 5-3 victory Thursday against the visiting Thief River Falls Norskies.
Bryce Krauter recorded his first SIJHL goal for Red Lake, while Ethan Stuckless also found the back of the net.
Zach Willms made 37-saves for the win.
The Miners are once again three points back of first place Thunder Bay and return to the ice Saturday at home against Fort Frances.
Red Lake is riding a three game winning streak and is 7-2-1 in their last ten games.
