A reminder that all schools in the Keewatin Patricia District School Board will be closed today.
The public board is included in this weeks’ round of one-day job walk-outs by members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation.
The job action impacts students at the elementary and high school level as well as adult education sites in Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Kenora.
Cooperative Education placements for secondary students will also be cancelled for the day.
Childcare and EarlyON Centres in area schools will remain open, but before and after school programming will not be operating.
Bus services to all public schools has been cancelled but catholic students will still see service.
All schools will re-open and it will be back to classes as normal on Thursday.
Area catholic schools remain open and bus service will continue for catholic schools as well.
