The Salvation Army is now accepting donations for those impacted by the massive bush fires in Australia.
Fires have been burning for four months now, scorching 6 million hectares, destroying hundreds of homes and forcing the evacuation of thousands of people.
The country is now urging nearly a quarter of a million people to evacuate their homes and are preparing military backup due to soaring temperatures, unpredictable winds and dangerous conditions.
The Salvation Army has been providing support to both residents and those on the front lines fighting those fires.
