The Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association is the latest union to announce job action.
Starting next week, OECTA says it will be taking “administrative job action” if they don’t get a new deal.
OECTA was in a legal strike position as of December 21st and joins the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation and the Elementary Teachers Federation as teachers unions engaged in job action against the provincial government.
English Catholic Teachers negotiators will sit down again with the provincial government today and tomorrow.
Teachers in Ontario have been without a contract since the start of the school year back in September.
