Provincial Police are confirming a fatality in a motor vehicle crash on Highway 502 between Dryden and Fort Frances.
The victim has been identified as 87-year-old Jean Steele of Emo.
OPP say Steele was the passenger in a southbound vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a northbound vehicle.
The crash occurred around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, (Tuesday) about 20-kilometres north of Highway 11.
Both drivers were transported to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The crash forced the closure of the highway for about eight hours.
