The Canadian Snowbird Association is launching a court challenge against provincial cuts to out-of-country OHIP emergency insurance coverage.
The government eliminated the subsidy on January 1st, forcing travellers to obtain insurance through private plans.
The Association says emergency medical care for all Canadians outside the country is enshrined in the Canada Health Act.
