Susan Siska nee Fielder
February 8, 1962 – December 22, 2019
In loving memory of Susan Siska nee Fielder who passed away unexpectedly at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, December 22, 2019 at the age of 57.
Susan is survived by her brother Craig (Candace) Fielder, nieces; Eryn (Sheldon) Cade, Leigha (Jason) Wyse and Lyndsay (Alex) Kruger, great nieces and nephew; Khloe and Harlow Cade, Charlotte Wyse and Dexter and Palmer Kruger, step-daughters Tina and Tara Siska and step-grandchildren Tyler Kirouac and Tory Adams. Susan will also be missed by her fur babies Scooter and Chase.
Susan was predeceased by her husband Allan Siska, parents Bill and Frances Fielder and infant brother Gregory “Keith” Fielder.
Susan and Allan had known each other their whole lives and spent a lot of time together when they were young. They found their way back to each other in 2014 and married on May 28, 2016. Susan and Al had many opportunities to travel to visit family and friends across the country. They recently purchased a camper and spent as much time as they could camping at Godson Lake.
Susan worked at the Salvation Army in Dryden for many years. In her downtime she loved to crochet and made many blankets and outfits. She also enjoyed baking and playing darts. She was part of a dart league for many years. Susan was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Royal Canadian Legion as well as the Loyal Order of the Moose. She was a part of the Agricultural Society and sold tickets at the gate for the annual fall fair every year.
Susan had many friends and was very well known and loved, especially by her nieces whom she adored. They were very important to her and she treated them like they were her own children. She was always there for them whenever they needed her she and played a big part in their lives.
As per Susan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Graveside Service with family and close friends will take place at a later date.
