A prominent Dryden business owner has died.
Robert (Bob) Savage, owner and director of Dryden Community Funeral Home passed away at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Centre, Friday, December 27.
Savage was flown to Thunder Bay after suffering a heart attack in Dryden before Christmas.
In a posting to the Dryden Community Funeral Home Facebook Page, Savage is described as “a staple to this community and loved by many. He was a father, brother, son, partner and mentor. He touched the lives of so many and made a huge impact in others’ lives.”
The post, written by Kayla Jonassen, Funeral Director, also says “His family and I will do our best to keep his dream alive with the funeral home and getting the crematorium going.”
Funeral details are expected later this week.
