A series of weather alerts and advisories are blanketing the Northwest.
Dryden, Ignace and Kenora are under a weather alert calling for snow and freezing drizzle through the afternoon and into this evening. Highway 17 from Kenora through to Ignace was closed for part of the afternoon but is open as of 4 pm.
Meanwhile, Fort Frances, Thunder Bay and Atikokan are under a Snowfall Warning with blowing snow causing reduced visibility this afternoon and into the evening as well.
