Another bank related scam to watch out for.
This one is from a text message that claims to be from Scotiabank.
The message states that there are problems with your account and it has been closed.
In order to re-open the account, the message tells the victim to click a link.
A reminder to not click suspicious links and that Scotiabank does not conduct business in this manner.
It is also being reported that many of the people who have received these messages don’t even have Scotiabank accounts.
