Environment Canada has issued a ‘freezing drizzle alert’ for the CKDR listening area.
The alert covers Dryden, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Ignace and all points in between.
According to Environment Canada, occassional flurries and freezing drizzle will take place throughout the night. Motorists should also watch for fog patches.
Christmas day will be cloudy with a 40% chance of flurries and risk of freezing drizzle in the morning, fog patches should disspate by mid-morning.
