The Conservatives have postponed their policy convention planned for this upcoming April in Toronto.
The policy convention will now take place from Nov. 12 to 14 in Quebec City.
In a news release, the party says the National Council voted to delay the convention to focus on the leadership election process.
Andrew Scheer announced his resignation after facing criticism from within the party over his loss to Justin Trudeau in this year’s election.
No word yet on when the party plans to elect a new leader.
More details around the policy convention will be announced at a later date.
