Dryden GM Ice Dogs forward Justin Pitari has been named SIJHL/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
The 19-year-old buried the game-winner in overtime in Red Lake and set-up the decider in a triumph over Thunder Bay on home ice.
Pitari has points in ten consecutive games and has a team-best 16 markers.
He leads all SIJHL skaters in game-winning goals with six and short handed goals with three.
Carson Lux of the Red Lake Miners and Cochenour’s Cody Bruchkowski with Thunder Bay also received consideration.
The only other Ice Dogs player to receive the honour this year was Xavier Halterman back in Week #5.
