Do you get a bonus from your employer at Christmas time?
A new survey conducted by ADP asked over 1,500 Canadians last month, what they would prefer from their employer during the holiday season.
54% said they would like a financial bonus, but only 15% expected to receive one.
The study also found that the most common reward was usually a holiday party, followed by a gift and then additional time off.
11% didn’t want any holiday reward at all.
Charitable donations and activities ranked at the bottom with only 7% of Canadian employers planning to participate in a charitable activity for the holidays.
Only 8% of employees were interested in giving to a charity as a company.
