Cecile Marcino is back for another term as Chair of the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
Marcino was re-elected at the December Board meeting last night (Tuesday) in Dryden.
Roger Griffiths was elected as the new Vice-Chair.
Griffiths brings plenty of experience to the table as he’s been the chair of finance on the board for five years and has worked with many provincial and national committees outside of the school board.
He says he’s excited to support Cecile Marcino, the executive team and the board and to work closely with the new Director of Education.
Griffiths notes it’s great to be elected and receive the confidence of the entire board.
He beat out Gerald Kleist and Dave Cornish in voting.
