Safeway in Dryden is hoping you are in the spirit of giving.
The store is holding a fundraising ‘Food Fair’ on Saturday.
Store Manager Crystal Whiteley says they will be taking checkstand donations, non-perishable food donations and collecting donations for the Dryden Food Bank.
Sobeys will match all donations raised.
Whiteley says “We really wanted to support their new focus on getting perishable foods to those families in need”.
The Food Bank continues to raise funds to help off-set the costs of a new refrigerated van.
Food donations can be dropped off at Safeway at any time.
