The 43rd session of Parliament opens this afternoon (Thursday) and all eyes are on Ottawa with the Speech from the Throne.
Members of parliament will cast their votes either in support or against.
Trudeau must get a majority of the MP’s in the House of Commons to vote for his key priorities moving forward, which is a confidence vote.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government does not have enough seats to pass any legislation unless it comes with support from the opposition parties.
That raises the risks of the government falling in a vote of non-confidence, forcing another federal election.
