The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have moved into third place in the Superior International Junior Hockey League standings.
The Ice Dogs downed first place Thunder Bay 5-3 Saturday night at the Memorial Arena.
Justin Pitari led the way with two goals and an assist.
Nolan Marshall, Evan Pakkela and Dylan DiTomaso added singles.
Dryden GM dominated outshooting Thunder Bay 50-29.
Jacob Anthony recorded the victory.
The Ice Dogs are now one point ahead of Thief River Falls and one point behind second place Red Lake.
They return to the ice Wednesday at home against Fort Frances.
