A number of local groups are teaming up to ensure this holiday season is a special one for families and children in the Dryden area.
The annual ‘Stuff An EMS’ event is tomorrow (Saturday) from 11:00am until 3:00pm at Walmart, Canadian Tire, Safeway and Extra Foods.
Dryden Police Inspector Anne Tkachyk says this is a fundraiser for the Christmas Cheer program.
Non-perishable food items, new unwrapped toys and monetary donations will be accepted at all locations.
City Police are partnering with Provincial Police, Dryden Fire Service, Northwest EMS and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
