Well yesterday was finally the day!! The awesome Spidey suit from RPC Studios that many helped raise funds to purchase for me had come in – so the presentation of the excess funds (that was donated) was made yesterday to The DREAM Committee in Dryden on behalf of draw winner Sally Coulson. Sally had picked DREAM as her charity of choice to receive the extra $1,300 from the generous donors!! Sally was not present for the presentation as she is enjoying sunny and warmer weather at this time South of the border.
For those who don’t know, DREAM stands for The Dryden Recreation Extension And Modification (DREAM) Project. Marnie Oliphant and Janice Radburn were on hand to accept the funds on behalf of DREAM.
It’s kind of ironic I think….it was my dream to own a high quality Spidey suit. You made that dream reality for me and at the same time as it turns out you’ve helped along another dream!!
