A scary near-miss for a Dryden OPP officer.
One man has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle after OPP say a vehicle drove towards an officer who was attempting to conduct a traffic stop.
It happened around noon on Wednesday.
OPP were alerted to a suspicious vehicle in the Municipality of Machin, and later found it in Dryden at a 7-Eleven.
When the officer tried to make the traffic stop, they say the vehicle shifted into drive, narrowly missed the officer, and fled the parking lot.
OPP tracked it to Russell Road in Dryden, where they arrested a 33-year-old Calgary man.
