A Silver medal for the Dryden Eagles Senior Girls Basketball team at the NWOSSA Final.
The Eagles fell to the Thunder Bay champion Hammarskjold Vikings in two games.
In the opener on Friday night, it was a highly contested battle with the two teams going back and forth.
However, the Vikings pulled away late thanks to some key three pointers in a 49-39 win.
Brynn Montgomery poured in 15 for Dryden, while Emilie Heil added 11.
On Saturday, Hammarskjold exploded out of the gate to earn a quick 13-5 lead and later pushed it to 20.
Dryden battled back in the second half but came up short in a 45-28 setback.
Six different Eagles found the score sheet, led by Montgomery, Julia Jones and Rachel Hart.
Hammarskjold will now represent northwestern Ontario at the All-Ontario Finals in Kingsville.
