The new MP for Thunder Bay-Rainy River is getting ready for his first session in parliament.
Liberal Marcus Powlowski has completed a meet-and greet across his riding in advance of the December 5th start up.
The future of the Bombardier plant in Thunder Bay and the mill in Fort Frances as well as drugs and crime are among the issues he’s ready to tackle.
Powlowski adds improving CN rail safety and infrastructure funding were other issues raised during his visits around the riding.
He notes it’s going to be a fast and hectic start in the opening sitting.
