It was a tough weekend for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The Ice Dogs didn’t get any favours from the referees in a pair of losses in Spooner, Wisconsin.
Dryden GM fell to the Lumberjacks 3-2 and 5-0.
The Lumberjacks were awarded a total of 24 power plays, while the Ice Dogs had 6 man advantages in the two game series.
Evan Pakkala and Josh Gardner scored the Dryden GM goals.
Jacob Anthony was solid in net but didn’t get a lot of help in front of him.
In Thief River Falls, the Red Lake Miners earned a split in their two game series with the Norskies.
The Miners won 6-4 on Saturday, after dropping a 3-2 decision the night before.
Spencer Milne led the Red Lake attack with 3-goals, while Spencer Milne added a pair of markers.
Carson Lux and Tucker Evans also found the back of the net.
