A 20-year-old from Cochenour has been named SIJHL/Monkey Team Sports-Northland Distribution Player of the Month for October.
Thunder Bay North Stars forward Cody Bruchowski received the honour after picking up points in eight straight games last month.
He finished with 11-goals and 4-assists.
Three of Bruchowski’s tallies were game-winners.
He had a pair of hat tricks, including one against Dryden GM.
Ice Dogs defenceman Amraj Gill and Red Lake forward Ethan Stuckless also received consideration.
