A change to the rules governing cannabis stores in Ontario is allowing for more First Nation sites.
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission has cleared the way for 18 more stores from the initial eight given permission to apply for licensing in July.
Five new locations have been approved for northwestern Ontario:
-Couchiching First Nation
-Mitaanjigamiing First Nation
-Fort William First Nation
-Shoal Lake
-Rat Portage
