Canadians have been asked about their habits during Halloween in a new survey.
The most popular treat to give away at the door is chocolate followed by candy, chips and non-food items.
While 80% of households plan to buy treats, 11% will buy them for their own personal consumption.
The average household will have almost 240 treats on hand and will give out 3 to each ghost and goblin.
About 2,000 adults took part in the survey by Field Agent Canada.
